Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service. The role involves following SOPs, assisting with immunizations, and maintaining inventory while ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies.

You will work within a store environment, travel to different locations as needed, and participate in a rigorous training program to meet licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If state board does not address minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If state board does not address minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, personalized patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and assist with returns to stock and cycle counts.
• Support immunizations and other services as trained and permitted by law.
