Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for a pharmacy clerk to provide exceptional customer service and support to pharmacists in dispensing medications. You will handle reception, data entry, adjudication, and cashiering tasks in a fast-paced store pharmacy environment.

You will adhere to HIPAA regulations, maintain patient confidentiality, and assist with health and wellness initiatives while delivering accurate pricing and safe, courteous service to customers and employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and health code procedures and programs; notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Understand and follow company guidelines on pharmacy and inventory management to order medications and supplies.
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
