Job summary

The position requires a High school diploma, MA Pharmacy Technician registration, and strong communication skills. Flexibility for day/evening shifts and occasional Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients dropping off prescriptions and verify correct patient.
• Enter prescriptions and refills into computer and adjudicate with insurance.
• Assist with transferring prescriptions between pharmacies (certified tech).
• Update patient profiles in the electronic health record system.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering and removal of medications.
• Work a fluctuating schedule including day, evenings, and some Saturdays (9am-1pm).
