Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to help process prescriptions, enter data, and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision. You will assist patients, manage records, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior pharmacy training and HIPAA knowledge are important assets.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or 18+ depending on location requirements
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare medications and manage orders within regulatory guidelines
• Assist patients with questions and direct clinical queries to the pharmacist
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean
