Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Daytona in Ormond Beach, Florida seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions with speed and accuracy. You will communicate with customers by phone and respond promptly to their needs, supporting a fast-paced care environment.

The role involves triaging fax prescriptions, calculating dosages, and maintaining meticulous notes in the pharmacy system, while assisting with filing, inventory, and order processing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for timely dispensing.
• Verify and calculate correct dosages; ensure proper notes in the system.
• Respond to customer calls with care and top-level service.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order processing as needed.
• Maintain data entry records for cycle medications and renewals.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems and documentation imaging.
