Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the fulfillment team in Lexington, KY. Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will verify prescriptions, label packaging, and ensure timely delivery to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid pharmacy technician license/registration, and state certification (PTCB preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience or equivalent training in pharmacy tech.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and organize stock.
• Meet the pharmacy's accuracy and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other areas to keep workflow smooth.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workstation and proper stock replenishment.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing dispensing.
