Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required per state requirements.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years related experience, including at least 6 months data entry in long-term or managed care settings.

Aufgaben

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and promptly.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in the computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Interact with customers by phone, responding quickly and courteously.
