Job summary

Boomer Solutions of Oklahoma City, a Guardian family pharmacy, is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions in our fast-paced environment. You will communicate with customers by phone, verify dosages, and ensure accurate notes in our systems.

Responsibilities include triaging faxes, cycle fill activities, and collaborating with the team to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
• National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system accurately and promptly.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify the correct dosage per prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route calls appropriately.
• Meet established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and profiling of orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow.
