Job summary

CARESCRIPT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting that information into our system.

You will also be accepting payments for prescriptions, receiving incoming inventory, and answering customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions from patients and doctor’s offices, verify accuracy, and input into the system.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy.
• Receive incoming inventory, verify accuracy, log it in the system, and shelve it as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy records, including patient profiles and inventory logs.
• Accept payments for prescriptions and small transactions.
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries.
