Job summary

The MUSC Health Florence Outpatient Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with dispensing medications and related processes in Florence, SC.

Requirements include a High School degree, at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, and current SCBOP registration. On-site role with 8 scheduled hours per week. This position is part of the MUHA system and supports safe, accurate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the SC Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists a registered pharmacist with dispensing-related activities and processes.
• Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information.
• Receives and stocks incoming supplies; may prepare labels and routine prepacked orders.
• May perform clerical duties related to the department.
