Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (schedule subject to change; flexibility required.)
Pay Range
$17 - $25 per hour
Employment Type
Part‑time position, up to 25 hours per week. Schedule will flex as needed due to business needs.

Essential Job Functions
- Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
- Triage incoming faxed prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
- Ensure proper notes in the computer system and correct cycle‑fill coding.
- Calculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
- Respond to customer calls with care, understanding, and courtesy; route calls appropriately for service excellence.
- Complete all prescriptions assigned for processing within the regular shift.
- Receive, evaluate, process, and follow up with doctors' offices on all re‑fills assigned.
- Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems, including document imaging and legacy pharmacy computer operating systems.
- Assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, inventory, profiling orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions for patient dispensing as needed.
- Develop and learn cycle medication orders to meet delivery deadlines and maintain accurate data entry records for cycle medication and renewal orders.
- Perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.
Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience (an advanced degree may substitute for experience).
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
