Qualifications

• Basic Internet navigation and online form completion.
• Keyboarding at least 25 WPM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription records and patient registrations per Walgreens entry methods.
• Handle prescription requests in HIPAA-compliant manner and process replenishments.
• Assist pharmacists on-site and at other locations and report issues to senior staff.
• Resolve data-entry exceptions and ensure accuracy of drug dispensing records.
• Communicate with patients via calls, chats, and emails; contact prescribers as needed.
• Review, amend, and resubmit rejected claims to meet plan requirements.
• Place calls to insurers to obtain data, overrides, or clarifications on rejections.
