PharMerica is hiring full-time Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians in Fresno, CA. Join a closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team focused on long-term care and senior living communities.

You will enter and verify prescription orders, perform basic calculations, and support timely medication delivery under Pharmacist supervision. Training is Monday–Friday with occasional weekend shifts; benefits include health/dental/vision, disability coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosage and conversion tasks.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; perform follow-up actions in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance in processing.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims; generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company values and policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed by management.

PharMerica is hiring full-time Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians in Fresno, CA!

Responsible for accurately entering and processing prescription orders in a closed-door pharmacy environment, ensuring patient information, medications, dosages, and directions are entered correctly. Collaborates with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription discrepancies, manage high-volume order processing, and support timely medication delivery to long-term care facilities.

** Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm **

Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm w/ every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm)
