Job summary

Kroger in Alcoa, TN is seeking a pharmacy clerk to provide exceptional customer service and health-and-wellness support in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll handle reception, data entry, product dispensing, and basic billing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety standards.

You will work with pharmacists and store teams to ensure accurate inventory, cash handling, and a stellar customer experience, all while upholding Kroger’s values and community commitments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Any previous comparable experience is a plus.
• EPRN familiarity is desired.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and the company’s policies.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
