Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy compounding and fulfillment pharmacy in Fairfield, OH. You will assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, packaging, and order processing, while maintaining patient records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include entering prescription data, inventory control, and providing courteous customer service in a non-retail, onsite setting with first and second shifts. Ohio-licensed or eligible technicians preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in prescription processing and medication handling.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations including prescription entry, inventory management, and documentation practices.
• Ability to accurately enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Customer service skills to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligibility to obtain.
• Compounding experience; sterile compounding preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist with prescription preparation, medication packaging, and order fulfillment under supervision of pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and patient information accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Support inventory management by stocking medications, performing cycle counts, and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information.
• Assist with prescription pick-up and respond to patient inquiries with professional service.
• Follow established pharmacy procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Help maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment in compounding and fulfillment areas.
