Job summary

UW Health’s Community Pharmacy in Madison is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for per diem shifts. You will fill and prepare prescriptions in our retail pharmacies for patients, using strong math, customer service, and critical thinking to stay organized in a busy environment.

Hours start at a minimum of 16 per week with every other weekend rotation. No minimum education required, though an accredited training program is preferred and Wisconsin registration is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required (as stated)
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred
