Job summary

Atria Health Institute in New York is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join its team under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will prepare, package, and distribute medications, and enter prescription data to build patient profiles using a computerized system.

Responsibilities include maintaining PHI confidentiality, keeping the pharmacy clean, and providing excellent customer service to patients and medical professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician License (preferred).
• 3 years Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred).
• 1 year Customer Service experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and distribute medications under supervision.
• Enter prescription data to create patient profiles in a computerized system.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with delivery instructions and invoices for home/office delivery.
• Monitor inventory and expired pharmaceuticals.
