Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a hospital setting in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports preparation and distribution of medications under supervision while maintaining accuracy and professionalism across all interactions.

Responsibilities include Rx window duties, stock rotation, paperwork, and collaboration with pharmacy leadership to ensure smooth daily operations. Evening coverage may be required; certification and Ohio exam are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Pharmacy Technician
• Must be certified (PTCB/CPhT)
• Passed an examination approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (PTCB/ CPhT)

• Re-orders drugs and supplies, rotates stock, checks expiration dates and cleans assigned area.
• Performs as a receptionist at the RX window, distributes medications, completes paperwork, and assists with calls and issues.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly department environment.
• Follows departmental and hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Rotating: 6-230; 630-3; 730-4; 830-5; 1130-8
• May include evening coverage: 230-11 or 3-1130

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and distribution of medications under the direct supervision of pharmacy leadership and pharmacists. In this role, you will support daily pharmacy operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a positive, professional presence across all interactions within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Re-orders drugs and supplies, rotates stock, checks expiration dates and cleans assigned area.
• Performs as a receptionist at the RX window, distributes medications, completes paperwork, and assists with calls and issues.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly department environment.

Requirement:

• Required: 2+ years of experience as Pharmacy Technician, Must be certified!
• Responsible for handling cash as it pertains to selling prescriptions or other pharmacy items
• High school diploma or GED
• Passed an examination approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (PTCB/ CPhT)
