SUMMARY

This position seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Post Office Square site in Boston, MA. The role is part-time (24 hrs/week), with availability during open business hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat/Sun 10am-5pm, including rotating holidays. The technician performs a wide range of routine and complex pharmaceutical duties supporting pharmacy operations. They may assume a lead role among support staff and relieve pharmacists of duties related to prescription intake and handling Schedule II controlled substances per MA Board of Pharmacy regulations. Candidates must possess Pharmacy Technician Registration as required by the Massachusetts Pharmacy Board and National Pharmacy Training Certification.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental body.
• Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program or retail/outpatient pharmacy experience.
• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts without restrictions.
• Active National Pharmacy Training Certification without restrictions.
• Completion of annual Continuing Education (CE) credits as mandated by certification requirements and pharmacy policies.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
