McLaren Health Care is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare medications for inpatient and outpatient use under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role includes inventory management, order processing, and preparing pre-outpatient surgery orders within a hospital network in Michigan.
The position requires a Michigan Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma, and strong mathematical skills. Experience in hospital settings is preferred.

The Certified Pharmacy Technician prepares medication needed for any patient type under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Assists the pharmacist with all aspects of the pharmacy duties. Is responsible for inpatient and outpatient computer charge entries. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and medications needed in automated dispensing units. Assists the pharmacy buyer in inventory control and is able to order through wholesaler in his/her absence. Works in compliance with Federal and State regulations and HFAP accreditation standards and financial management.
