CVS Health Corporation is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Tennessee. This full-time role supports MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant, and Gastrointestinal therapies, delivering expert product guidance and patient-centric service.

Expect 40 hours weekly with a competitive hourly pay range of $17.00 to $25.65, plus eligibility for CVS Health bonus programs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• 6+ months experience in customer service in healthcare or related field.
• CPhT or ExCPT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with specialty product inquiries and provide recommendations.
• Manage inventory and restock shelves for specialty products.
• Communicate promotions and product updates to customers and team.
• Record customer inquiries for senior management to improve service outcomes.
• Monitor sales metrics such as revenue, units sold, and average transaction value.
• Process transactions in the POS system and handle cash.

Position Summary

We are offering a $1500 bonus to join our team (not valid for current CVS colleagues). CVS health has an exciting new opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases As part of the team, you will you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.

• Assists customers by responding to specialty product inquiries and providing technical advice or recommendations for specialty needs.
• Maintains specialty retail store operations by completing inventory management tasks, restocking shelves, and organizing displays.
• Communicates with customers and shares announcements and/or promotions on the latest product releases, features, and technology trends.
• Compiles customer complaints, inquiries, or concerns for senior managers to help improve future customer service outcomes.
• Monitors key sales metrics related to daily, weekly, and monthly sales revenue, units sold, average transaction value, and conversion rates.
• Operates within the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, handle cash, and operate payment terminals.
• Drives effective team collaborations with specialty retail associates and technicians to provide customers with a positive experience.
• Determines how best to prioritize tasks and manage workloads to ensure the timely completion of customer requests and specialty retail services.
• Performs basic repairs or provides step-by-step instructions to customers to help resolve issues with specialty retail products and/or services.

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior authorization experience
• 6+ months experience required in a customer service position within in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
• CPhT or ExCPT Certification

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
