Job summary

The Albertsons Companies Safeway division is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the Central Fulfillment Center in Ridgefield, WA. You will operate in a closed‑door, fast‑paced pharmacy production line, filling prescriptions under direct pharmacist supervision using automated and manual stations to ensure accurate orders.

Typical 40‑hour weeks with 1st shift 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 2nd shift 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License in Washington required.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
• National certification preferred; beneficial for employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and security procedures in the pharmacy environment.
• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision using automation and manual workstations.
• Maintain inventory, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with packaging and shipping of prescriptions.
• Enter expiration dates and lot numbers; verify label accuracy and product attributes.
• Manually fill prescriptions as needed and support audits and documentation.
