Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site team in Tempe, AZ. You will process prescriptions, retrieve medications, and prepare shipments while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AZ Pharmacy Trainee License required with obligation to obtain AZ Pharmacy Technician license after trainee period.
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet, Email).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
• Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
• Send orders to staff for completion and verification of prescriptions.
• Select packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
• Enclose client materials to orders.
• Affix shipping labels and sort by carrier.
• Maintain workstation supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
