Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its Pharmacy Technician team with an entry-to-advanced pathway through a training program designed to certify you as a Pharmacy Technician with PTCB credentials.

The role focuses on patient-centered care, using advanced pharmacy technology and systems to support pharmacists and improve customer experiences. Training emphasizes accuracy, safety, and service excellence in a retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preference for six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience and good math skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related tasks.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medications and check for interactions.
• Provide a friendly, distinctive customer experience and support cashiers.
