Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and with pharmacy department duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs and verify medicine correctness and interactions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow in the pharmacy.
• Handle cash register duties and assist with third party claims and clerical tasks.
• Support inventory management including ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
