Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and building relationships. The program offers an ASHP and Department of Labor approved training path toward PTCB certification, with growth opportunities and hands-on experience in a fast-paced pharmacy.

You will support pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and participate in inventory, cash handling, and customer service duties while pursuing certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred or obtained on promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems; assist cashiers as needed.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle cash and assist customers to OTC products.
• Support inventory management and stocking of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist with clinical services coordination when required.
