Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, supporting pharmacists and engaging with customers. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist with cash handling and customer guidance at OTC aisles.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and stock control.
• Engage customers to deliver a positive, distinctive Walgreens experience.
