Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the forefront of patient care, working directly with customers and building strong patient relationships. The program supports earning while learning, guiding certification, and advancing a career in pharmacy.

Technicians will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and contribute to a friendly customer experience while growing through Walgreens training and the apprenticeship track.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills and computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashier operations.
• Deliver a positive, distinctive customer experience.
• Participate in inventory management and stocking.
• Support pharmacy team with clerical duties and cash handling.
