Job summary

Walgreens in Michigan is hiring Pharmacy Technicians and Apprentices who will be at the heart of patient care, assisting pharmacists and engaging with customers to build trust and deliver accurate prescriptions.

The role offers hands-on training through an ASHP/DOLE-supported program, with path to PTCB certification and ongoing development in pharmacy systems, inventory, and clinical services, all while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related pharmacy duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cashiers when needed.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with ordering and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help customers with products and services.
• Support clinical services as required and help coordinate with healthcare providers.
