Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy team with Pharmacy Technician roles and an apprentice track. You will be at the center of patient care, supported by an apprenticeship program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, designed to guide you toward PTCB certification and a portable credential.

From day one, you will learn to assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and deliver exceptional customer service, under supervision, while pursuing ongoing training and career growth within

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math and computer skills; knowledge of inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in performing pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach others in operating pharmacy systems and cash registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle prescription processing, inventory, and clerical duties as assigned.
