Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to engage with customers and build strong patient relationships. The program offers hands-on training, an ASHP & Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship, and a pathway to PTCB certification.

You will learn pharmacy systems, assist with prescriptions, and support daily operations while maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math and computer skills recommended.
• Inventory control knowledge a plus.
• PTCB certification required or pursued as part of development.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related tasks.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; process prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Provide customer service and develop patient relationships.
• Adhere to company policies and quality standards.
