Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will interact with customers and help build strong patient relationships. The role includes supporting pharmacists, handling prescriptions, and using pharmacy systems with care. Training and advancement opportunities are highlighted through ASHP & DOL recognized programs.

You will learn and maintain PTCB certification, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and excellent patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions and patient information.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage patient data.
• Provide a delightful customer experience and assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
