Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will be at the heart of patient care, interacting with customers and building strong relationships.

The role includes training through an ASHP&DOL-recognized program and advancement to PTCB certification, with a focus on enabling excellent service and accurate dispensing. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with and coach with pharmacy systems.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Performs inventory management and supports pharmacy operations as assigned.
