Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will be front and center, engaging customers and building strong patient relationships in a patient-centric environment.

The role offers training through an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship program, with support to pursue PTCB certification and growth within Walgreens' pharmacy team. Prior retail experience is preferred, with a focus on accuracy, service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience of 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients, greet and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing, entering patient and drug information, and checking for interactions.
• Support inventory management, stock handling, and cashier duties as needed.
• Handle non-technical calls and coordinate with pharmacists, physicians, and care teams.
• Contribute to a compliant pharmacy workflow and adhere to company policies.
