Job summary

Walgreens is expanding our pharmacist-led care model with Pharmacy Technician roles and an apprentice pathway. You’ll interact with customers, support the pharmacist, and use advanced systems to process prescriptions while building essential patient relationships.

The program supports earning while learning, aiming toward PTCB certification and ongoing professional growth within Walgreens’ pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a delightful customer experience and resolve issues.
• Support inventory management and maintain a clean, stocked Pharmacy area.
• Participate in training and development to maintain PTCB certification.
