Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice for a role centered on patient care, rather than just transactions. You will interact with customers, support pharmacists, and build strong relationships while utilizing Walgreens tools and technology.

The company sponsors an ASHP and Department of Labor–recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program to help you earn PTCB certification and advance in pharmacy care.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with and coach technicians with pharmacy operations.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and engage customers to provide help proactively.
