Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technician positions and a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centered team. This role includes training through the ASHP & Department of Labor–recognized program, with a path to PTCB certification and ongoing skill development.

New and experienced technicians will be trained to assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, engage customers, and contribute to high-quality patient care while advancing in a supportive Walgreens environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a positive and delightful customer experience and resolve issues.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
• Assist with clerical duties and cash handling as required by store management.
• Participate in clinical services as needed and coordinate with the healthcare team.
