Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to be at the center of patient care, interacting with customers and building strong patient relationships. The role may include participation in the Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Training Program, supporting certification efforts and ongoing professional development.

You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and contribute to a high-quality customer experience while upholding store standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy of information.
• Provide a delightful customer experience and resolve issues.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving and stocking of medicines.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to support clinical services as needed.
