Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
Prefer good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Assist with and coach technicians in operating pharmacy systems and cash registers as needed.
Deliver a distinctive customer experience and ensure accuracy in prescription filling.
Enter patient and drug information, verify accuracy, and check for possible interactions.
Assist with inventory management and support the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacist.
