Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our patient-centric team at our Rock Hall location. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience as part of a growing Walgreens profession.

The role emphasizes training through our ASHP & Department of Labor–recognized program, with opportunities to become PTCE certified and advance within the Walgreens care network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Six months retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting and measuring meds.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy tasks.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cashiers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions and guide customers to OTC products.
• Maintain inventory and support clerical duties in the Pharmacy Department.
• Assist with clinical services as needed and coordinate with healthcare providers.
