Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its Pharmacy Technician roles to be more patient-centric. The Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice will interact with customers, develop patient relationships, and support the pharmacist in daily operations.

The program offers an earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship, helping trainees pursue PTCB certification and build a portable credential in a growing health-care field. Training emphasizes accuracy, patient care, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prior retail or pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions and use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Deliver a friendly, quality customer experience and maintain accurate records.
