Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice in New Jersey. You’ll be at the front helping customers, supporting the pharmacist, and using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions. This position emphasizes patient-centric care and offers a path to PTCB certification through a recognized Walgreens apprenticeship.

Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Pharmacy experience, retail preferred.
Interest in earning PTCB certification through an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and related duties.
Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
Fill prescriptions, retrieve and count medications, and check for interactions.
Handle cash register transactions and support front-end duties as needed.
Support inventory management and coordination of clinical services.
