Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in New Jersey to join our team. You will interact with customers, assist the pharmacist, and help ensure accurate prescriptions while delivering a friendly, patient-focused experience.

The training program is ASHP and Department of Labor recognized, offering an entry point to certification and a path toward becoming a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician, with ongoing skill development and career growth.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Process prescriptions, fill orders, and handle cash and customer interactions.
Deliver a friendly, patient-centered customer experience while maintaining accuracy.
