Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be front and center with customers, building strong patient relationships and delivering service with the latest technology. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in dispensing prescription medications and entering patient information into pharmacy systems.
• Process and resubmit claims for third-party prescription services in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock management.
• Support pharmacists in clinical services and patient counseling as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and help resolve patient questions.
