Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Old Orchard Beach, ME. You’ll assist pharmacists, interact with customers, and help build strong patient relationships in a patient-centric environment.

The role supports the transition toward technician-led care, with onboarding through Walgreens’ earn-while-you-learn program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, including pursuing PTCB certification and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and in line with company policies.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems; assist with third party claims as needed.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience; greets and helps customers and patients.
• Maintain stock and inventory; support pharmacy operations and ensure accuracy in dispensing.
