Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice in Caribou, ME, to be at the frontline with patients and build strong relationships. The role trains you through an apprenticeship program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, guiding you toward PTCB certification while you grow in a customer-centric pharmacy environment.

Under supervision, you will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, manage pharmacy systems, and help deliver exceptional service to patients and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in dispensing and entering patient information and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and assist with third party claims as needed.
• Provide a distinctive and helpful customer experience and support pharmacy operations.
