Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its Pharmacy Technician roles to be more patient-centric. As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will interact with customers and build strong patient relationships while benefiting from a training program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor.

The apprenticeship provides an entry point toward becoming a PTCP Certified Pharmacy Technician and advancing your career with support and up-to-date tools.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience preferred (6 months).
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math, computer, and inventory skills.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and manage prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and pricing activities.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and safety standards.
