Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment (not required).
Prefer prior Walgreens experience (not required).
Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related pharmacy duties.
Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and verify interactions.
Support inventory management and maintain stock levels.
Provide exceptional customer service and help patients with products and services.
