Job summary

Walgreens is hiring Pharmacy Technician/Apprentice to engage with customers and build patient relationships. Get hands-on training through an ASHP/DOL-recognized program and work toward PTCB certification while gaining real-world experience in a community pharmacy.

You will assist the pharmacist, handle prescriptions, process transactions, and support inventory and store operations. Prior retail experience and computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems; assist if PTCB certified.
• Maintain accurate patient and drug information, advise customers, and support daily store operations.
• Help with inventory management and ensure stock levels are adequate.
