Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice to be front and center with customers, building strong patient relationships and delivering care with the latest technology to support your growth.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with store inventory control.
PTCB certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy duties.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashiering as needed.
Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
Maintain accuracy by reviewing patient and drug information and checking for interactions.
